Nikola Zigic completes 6m Birmingham City deal

Nikola Zigic has landed himself a tall order - finding the goals to fire Birmingham City upwards after completing a £6million switch from Valencia.
The giant Serbia striker has agreed a four-year deal with the St Andrew's club, becoming Alex McLeish’s third signing of the close season.
Zigic stands at almost 6ft 8in - he doesn’t exactly dwarf Spurs’ Peter Crouch, but the England international has finally found someone in the Barclays Premier League to look up to. Albeit by less than an inch.

McLeish moved quickly to secure Zigic on a lengthy contract from Valencia, who have off-loaded the Serb shortly after banking £34m from the sale of David Villa to Barcelona.
The striker had also been tracked by Stoke, Blackburn and Sunderland.
McLeish, armed with funds from Carson Yeung, has added Zigic to his frontline after signing Manchester United’s Ben Foster late last week. Spanish midfielder Enric Valles has also joined on a free transfer from Breda.
